Contributor Guidelines

Thanks for helping build the VONet Community Wiki! This space is here so we can all share what we know, document what we’re building, and help others get involved.

You don’t need to be an expert to contribute. Just keep it simple, honest, and useful.

General Guidelines

• Keep things clear and easy to follow
• Focus on helping others understand or do something
• Use everyday language, explain technical stuff in plain terms
• Keep edits respectful and community-focused
• Don’t advertise products or services

Good Things to Add

• How-to instructions (setup steps, install guides, etc.)
• Notes on equipment or tools you've used
• Tips or lessons from your own setup
• Community events or local VONet activity
• Ideas for outreach or volunteer help

Editing Tips

• Use `== Headings ==` to organize pages
• Use bullet points for steps, lists, or tips
• Short sentences are good — keep it readable
• It’s okay to make small edits or fix typos

Be Kind

This is a shared space. Be thoughtful and helpful when editing or leaving comments. Everyone’s learning, and it’s okay to not know everything.
